Congratulations to Lava Cap, founded by Rosemary Madagwa, which entered and won the Pure Beauty Awards Highly Commendable Award, beating hundreds of established, big name brands to secure the covetable recognition.
The Pure Beauty Awards, now in its 20th year, is the biggest and most recognized event in the beauty calendar with 2021 its biggest year yet with 43 categories covering the skincare, body care, hair care and make-up realm.
The winners of each category were announced live on the 28th of October at the renowned 8 Northumberland Avenue, London.
"It is our honour to win a Pure Beauty Award, one of the most respected within the industry. We are a bootstrapped brand that launched just over a year ago during the pandemic and to win against brands that have been trading for years is a humbling experience" says Rose.
"We aimed to create a product that provides real visible, tangible results for our customers and winning this award provides validation that we are on the right track!
Sarah Parsons, Editor of Pure Beauty, said: "Congratulations to Lava Cap for receiving Highly Commended for Best New Hair Care Brand at this year's Pure Beauty Awards!
"We received nearly 600 entries this year, with 443 shortlisted, so to receive this title is an incredible achievement and is a testament to the Lava Cap team's hard work and dedication to the hair care category.
"Lava Cap has a bright future ahead and I'll look forward to seeing their future innovation. Well done for being crowned among Pure Beauty's best in beauty."
Filled with flaxseeds that naturally retain heat, the Lava Cap takes deep conditioning to new heights. Retaining warmth that lasts up to 30 minutes, it is a staple hero product which helps moisture from masks and oils penetrate deeper into the hair shaft.
